## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON LANDING THE STUDENT FAILED TO EXECUTE A GO-AROUND WHEN HE ALLOWED THE AIRCRAFT TO "PORPOSE" DOWN THE RUNWAY. NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER 3-4 BOUNCES AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY SURFACE. THE STUDENT TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE OPERATOR'S HANGAR AND REPORTED THE INCIDENT TO HIS INSTRUCTOR. THE INSTRUCTOR, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, CALLED THE FAA OAKLAND FSDO AND REPORTED THE INCIDENT. AIRCRAFT ENGINE DAMAGED AND REQUIRES TEAR-DOWN AND REPAIR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
