## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC SAFELY LANDED TO ONE OF THE FOUR HELIPADS LOCATED AT THE MULTI PURPOSE POLICE/FIRE DEPARTMENT HELIPORT IN LAUGHLIN, NEVADA. PIC WAS ASKED IF HE COULD REPOSITION THE AIRCRAFT TO THE SOUTHWESTERN MOST PAD. PIC HOVER TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE RE-ASSIGNED PAD. PIC'S CREWMEMBER OBSERVER WAS BUSY HANDLING A RADIO CALL AND FAILED TO ALERT THE PILOT AS TO THEIR CLOSE PROXIMITY OF A 15 FOOT PALO VERDE TREE. SUBSEQUENTLY THE MAIN ROTOR BLADE TIPS STRUCK THE PALO VERDE TREE CAUSING BLADE TIP DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
