## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RW 24 AT 1640L WITH WINDS OF APPROX. 210/10, WITH WINDS SHIFTING BETWEEN 180 TO 240. AIRCRAFT MADE A NORMAL TOUCHDOWN TRACKED ABOUT 150 TO 200 FT. THEN SWERVED TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT MADE ABOUT A 40 DEGREE LEFT TURN THEN HELD THAT HEADING UNTIL DEPARTING THE RUNWAY. PILOT GOT OFF THE BRAKES JUST BEFORE EXITING THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT R0LLED ABOUT 30 FEET IN SOFT SOIL THEN NOSED OVER AND IMPACTED THE GROUND UPSIDE DOWN. WHILE THE AIRCRAFT WAS UPSIDE DOWN, INSPECTOR CHECKED AND FOUND THAT BOTH TIRES ROLLED FREELY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA10CA239](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA10CA239), Apr 23, 2010: New Standard D-25 (N9194), Vidalia, GA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
