## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER COMPLETION OF PILOT CHECK RIDE, PILOT REPORTED THAT WHILE TAXING TO THE RAMP, GUST OF WIND UPTURNED THE AICRAFT ONTO THE LEFT WING AND NOSE. THE LEFT WING TIP STRUCK THE GROUND AND THE TAIL ROSE AS THE AIRCRAFT TURNED CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND AND STOP. THE ARCRAFT SPUN APPROXIMATELY 270 DEGREES TO THE LEFT BEFORE COMING TO A STOP BACK ON ALL THREE WHEELS. THE WIND WAS REPORTED 300 DEGREES AT 23, GUSTS 38.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
