## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR EMORY STATED THAT EVERYTHING WAS NORMAL DURING THE APPROACH TO LAND. JUST AFTER THEY CROSSED THE THRESHOLD THE RIGHT WING SUDDENLY DROPPED AND HIT THE RUNWAY. FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR EMORY DETERMINED THAT A LANDING WAS THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION AND LANDED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS POINTED TOWARDS THE TAXIWAY AND THE AIRCRAFT CROSS THE GRASS MEDIUM BEFORE HE WAS ABLE TO STOP. THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WING TIP FIBERGLASS CAP. HE CALLED HIS CHEIF INSTRUCTOR AND A MECHANIC WAS DISPATCHED. THE MECHANIC INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND ALLOWED THE CREW TO RETURN IT TO THE HOME BASE.
