## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT IN COMMAND WAS FLYING FROM THE RIGHT SEAT. HE LEVELED OUT ABOVE THE RUNWAY AND WAS HOLDING IT OFF. WHEN THE SINK WAS FELT, PILOT INCORRECTLY COMPENSATED BY PUSHING THE YOKE IN WITH HIS RIGHT HAND AND PULLING BACK ON THE POWER WITH HIS LEFT HAND. THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT PITCHED DOWN AND IMMEDIATELY STRUCK THE GROUND AND BOUNCED. FULL POWER WAS ADDED AND A GO AROUND WAS INITIATED. ONCE THE AIRCRAFT WAS IN A CLIMB, THE FLIGHT CONTROLS WERE TURNED OVER TO THE PILOT IN THE LEFT SEAT. A NORMAL, UNEVENTFUL, SOFT FIELD LANDING WAS COMPLETED TO A FULL STOP. ALTHOUGH THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT APPEAR TO HAVE ANY OBVIOUS DAMAGE. FURTHER INSPECTION REVEALED BUCKLING OF THE FIREWALL.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
