## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING ON RWY 14 AT FRG AIRPORT PILOT DELAYED LANDING TOUCH DOWN UNTIL A CONFIRMATION OF LANDING CLEARANCE WAS ATTIANED FROM ATC. PILOT EXCUTED A REJECTED LANDING/GO AROUND LOW TO THE GROUND. THE LEFT WING OF THE AIRPLANE CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND AND THE AIRPLANE DEPARTED THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY, ENDING UP IN A GRASS AREA BETWEEN TWO TAXIWAYS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA10CA273](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA10CA273), May 20, 2010: Cirrus Design SR22 (N960JB), Farmingdale, NY, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during a go-around attempt.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
