## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING ROLLOUT, THE AIRCRAFT STARTED A LEFT TURN AND THE LEFT WING STARTED TO RISE. THE PILOT APPLIED POWER WITH RIGHT RUDDER AND FULL LEFT AILERON INPUT. THE LEFT WING CONTINUED TO RISE SO POWER WAS REDUCED TO IDLE. THE LOWER RIGHT WING CONTACTED THE RUNWAY DAMAGING THE FORE AND AFT SPARS. THE WIND DIRECTION PRIOR TO LANDING FAVORED RUNWAY 36; HOWEVER, A WIND CHECK AFTER LANDING REVEALED THE WIND WAS FROM 250 DEGREES AND GUSTING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR10CA254](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR10CA254), May 22, 2010: Boeing B75 (N1193N), Yerington, NV, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's inadequate compensation for the crosswind condition, resulting in the loss of directional control during the landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
