## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

IFR FLIGHT FROM GRE TO M54. WHEN THE PILOT SELECTED THE GEAR DOWN ON THE VISUAL APPROACH TO M54, THE NOSE GEAR DID NOT INDICATE DOWN AND LOCKED. UNABLE TO GET THE NOSE GEAR TO COME DOWN AND LOCK, HE REQUESTED BNA APPROACH FOR VECTORS AND A FLY BY AND REQUESTED EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT. LANDED ON RWY 31 WITH THE ENGINES SHUT DOWN AND FEATHERED. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE MAIN GEAR AND EVENTUALLY CAME TO A STOP ON THE RWY. THE NOSE GEAR REMAINED UP AND LOCKED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
