## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 29, 2010 THE CREW HEARD A NUMBER OF LOUD BANGS FOLLOWED BY MULTIPLE CAS FAILURE MESSAGES AND A LOSS OF INFORMATION ON THE CO-PILOTS MFD. THE CREW DETERMINED THAT THE FLIGHT CONTROLS WERE SLUGGISH, THEY WOULD HAVE ONLY PARTIAL BRAKING AND MAU INDICATED SPOILERS WOULD NOT BE OPERATING. AFTER DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, THEY NOTIFIED THE PASSENGERS TO PREP FOR AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION. THEY LANDED ON THE LONGEST RUNWAY AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THE GROUND EMERGENCY CREW WAS ASKED TO CHECK THE BRAKES FOR OVERHEATING AND THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE GATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
