## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS MAKING HIS SECOND LANDING ON GRASS STRIP. AIRCRAFT LANDED HARD ON LEFT WING TIP THEN ON RIGHT WING AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT SLID TO A STOP. BOTH WINGS WERE RINKLED AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN10LA303](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN10LA303), Jun 6, 2010: Piper PA-28R-180 (N7559J), Kingfisher, OK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's inadequate airspeed while landing, which led to an aerodynamic stall and a hard landing.

## Other reports on N7559J (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19930909038659I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19930909038659I), Sep 9, 1993: Piper PA28R180 (N7559J), Kent, WA, Minor damage. Nose gear collapsed on rollout. Pilot doing a simulated emergency landing. Not fully extended before touchdown.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
