## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE OWNER/PILOT REPAIRED THE AIRCRAFT FROM A PREVIOUS ACCIDENT. THE FIRST FLIGHT AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE MADE THE OWNER DEPARTED FROM HIS PRIVATE HOME AIRPORT TO STANTON, MN. HE DID TWO LANDINGS AT STANTON AND ON THE THIRD APPROACH TO LANDING THE PROPELLER WENT TO LOW PITCH AND THE AIRCRAFT LOST FORWARD THRUST. THE PILOT ADDED FULL POWER BUT HAD NO FORWARD THRUST RESULTING IN AN UNPLANNED LANDING SHORT OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, FUSELAGE, AND TAIL. HOW THE PROPELLER WAS IN LOW PITCH IS UNKNOWN. THE PILOT BELIEVES HE MAY HAVE INADVERTENTLY SET IT BY PUSHING THE WRONG BUTTON BUT IS NOT SURE. THE PUSH TO TALK BUTTON AND PROPELLER PITCH BUTTONS ARE LOCATED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO EACH OTHER ON THE CONTROL STICK.
