## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 06/08/2010, TUESDAY MORNING AT 07:30, NANTUCKET SHUTTLE INC. (Z4HC), N402NS, OPERATED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ PIC, CE-402-C, LANDED NANTUCKET MA ON RUNWAY 33 AND RECEIVED TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO THE NORTH RAMP AT AMA NANTUCKET. THE PILOT REQUESTED A PROGRESSIVE TAXI DUE TO HIS UNFAMILIARITY WITH THAT SIDE OF THE NORTH RAMP. DURING HIS TAXI TO THEIR FACILITY/OFFICE THE RIGHT WING CONTACTED A STEEL STORM SECURITY FENCE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WING TIP. THE RIGHT NAV LIGHT WAS DAMAGED AND THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE WING TIP WAS SHREDDED. THE A/C WILL BE FERRIED BACK TO HYANNIS MA AFTER INSPECTING THE WING TIP, WING SPAR, AND WING ATTACH FITTINGS. THE WING TIP WILL BE COVERED WITH SPEED TAPE OVER THE DAMAGED AREAS. SHUTTLE MX WILL BE REPLACING THE RIGHT WING TIP AND NAV LIGHT ASSEMBLY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS SAFELY FERRIED BACK TO HYANNIS FOR REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
