## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 06-13-2010 AT APPROXIMATELY 8:30 AM DURING THE LANDING ROLLOUT AT SULPHUR CREEK RANCH THE AIRCRAFT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. THE AIRCRAFT SWERVED TO THE LEFT AND THE NOSE GEAR WENT INTO A HOLE JUST OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR10CA327](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR10CA327), Jun 13, 2010: Cessna 172 (N5720A), Cascade, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s encounter with an unknown hole in the runway during the landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
