## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A RENTED AIRPLANE WITH ONLY THE PILOT ABOARD DEPARTED NORMAN, OK (KOUN) AT APPROX 08:15 AND ARRIVED AT CORDEL, OK (F36) ABOUT 09:30. ABOUT 11:15 THE AIRPLANE WITH THE PILOT ABOARD DEPARTED CORDELL, OK AND RETURNED TO NORMAN, OK (KOUN) ABOUT 12:30 TO 13:00. UPON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT PORPOISED AND LANDED HARD ON THE NOSE GEAR. THE NOSE LANDING GEAR STRUT TOP SEAL WAS BLOWN OUT BY THE FORCE AND THE STRUT DEFLATED. THE PROPELLER WAS DAMAGED DUE TO CONTACT WITH THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
