## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO FREE AN ANIMAL (BULL), THAT WAS TANGLED IN PLASTIC (POLYPROPYLENE) STRAPPING, WITH THE HELICOPTER'S SKID LANDING GEAR. THE BULL , STUCK ON THE SKID, WAS LIFTED OFF THE GROUND BY THE HELICOPTER. DUE TO WEIGHT AND CG LIMITATIONS, HELICOPTER EXPERIENCED DYNAMIC ROLLOVER. BULL WAS THROWN FROM THE AIRCRAFT DURING THE ROLL-OVER. HELICOPTER CRASHED FATALLY INJURING BOTH THE PILOT AND BULL.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC10LA053](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC10LA053), Jun 20, 2010: Robinson Helicopter R44 (N333DV), Unalaska, AK, substantial damage, 1 fatal. Probable cause: The pilot's inappropriate low altitude maneuvering, which resulted in a collision with terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
