## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 24, 2010, AT APPROXIMATELY 1400 CDT, N18RR, A CESSNA 310C, WAS OPERATING PART 91 AT GARRISON AIRSTRIP NEAR ASHDOWN, ARKANSAS. DURING TAXI THE PRIVATE PILOT REPORTED THAT THERE WAS A MASSIVE RAIN SHOWER THAT CAUSED HIM TO LOSE SIGHT OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND ENDED UP HITTING A MOBILE HOME OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE AIRFIELD. THE AIRCRAFT AND THE MOBILE HOME RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE AND THE PILOT, SOLE OCCUPANT RECEIVED MINOR FACIAL LACERATIONS. THE PILOT WAS NOT PROPERLY RATED TO OPERATE A MULTI-ENGINE AIRCRAFT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN10CA436](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN10CA436), Jun 24, 2010: Cessna 310C (N18RR), Ashdown, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s loss of directional control during the takeoff roll and his lack of experience in the airplane.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
