## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS WAS THE STUDENT'S SECOND SOLO FLIGHT. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT, HE WAS BEING SUPERVISED BY HIS FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR. THE INSTRUCTOR STATED THAT THE STUDENT WAS INSTRUCTED BY IXD ATCT TO EXIT ON TAXIWAY HOTEL BECAUSE OF JET TRAFFIC ON FINAL. THIS REQUIRED HEAVY BRAKING. THE STUDENT APPLIED BRAKES AND PULLED BACK ON THE YOKE, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT 30 DEGREES AND THE LEFT WING RAISED. WHEN THE NOSE CAME DOWN AGAIN DURING THE SUDDEN STOP, THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
