## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN LANDED AND WAS ATTEMPTING HIS FIRST TOUCH AND GO. HE STATED THE LEFT ENGINE WAS "RIGHT ON" AND IT SEEMED THE RIGHT ENGINE WAS LAGGING. AIRMAN STATED THAT AT APPROXIMATELY TWENTY FEET OVER THE RUNWAY, HE CHOPPED THE POWER OFF AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME DOWN HARD AND WAS CANTED TO THE RIGHT.AIRCRAFT EVENTUALLY ENTERED THE DIRT ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND THE RIGHT GEAR DUG INTO THE DIRT AND BROKE AWAY FROM THE AIRCRAFT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR10LA349](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR10LA349), Jul 14, 2010: Cessna 310K (N6909L), El Monte, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the takeoff ground roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
