## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT DEPARTED COE ENROUTE TO ID19. UPON ARRIVING AT ID19 AND ENTERING THE TRAFFIC PATTERN, PILOT SET UP FOR A SHORT FIELD APPROACH AND LANDING TO THE NORTH. ON SHORT FINAL PILOT BEGAN SLOWING THE AIRCRAFT FROM 60MPH TO 50MPH AND ESTIMATED A TOUCH DOWN APPROXIAMTELY 100 FEET DOWN THE RUNNING. AS THE PILOT APPROACHED THE THRESHOLD, PILOT STATED THE BOTTOM FELL OUT, QUICKLY LOSING ALTITUDE, AND HE LANDED HARD, SIX FEET SHORT OF THE RUNWAY. HE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO REACT WITH POWER AND THE LANDING GEAR BUCKLED UP AND THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED UP THE RUNWAY WITH THE PROPELLER STRIKING THE SURFACE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES OR FIRE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
