## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ABORTED TAKE-OFF WHEN AIRCRAFT WOULD NOT FLY AFTER THREE ATTEMPTS TO MAKE AIRCRAFT FLY. AIRCRAFT RAN OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND INTO A DITCH ABOUT 200-300 FEET OFF THE END OF RUNWAY 32. THE NOSEGEAR WAS TORN FROM THE FIREWALL AND WAS UNDER THE AIRCRAFT. NO INJURIES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA10LA375](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA10LA375), Jul 17, 2010: Cessna 182 (N777RM), Crisfield, MD, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's delayed decision to abort the takeoff, which resulted in a runway excursion.

## Other reports on N777RM (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19930704046219I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19930704046219I), Jul 4, 1993: Cessna 182P (N777RM), Philadelphia, PA. Pilot unable to navigate on any VOR, had to be given no gyro vectors to airport. Pilot stated he had no problem.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
