## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

INFO GATHERED FROM AAL-FSDO-01 INSPECTOR NOTES, NATIONAL PARK RANGER REPORT 10-0292 AND RANGER PHOTOS, STATEMENT FROM PILOT: IN DENALI NATIONAL PARK, MCKINLEY RIVER/BEAR CREEK: DURING LANDING ROLL-OUT ON OFF-FIELD ROCKY GRAVELBAR BETWEEN RIVERS, RIGHT LANDING GEAR DETACHED AS BOLTS FOR GEAR ATTACHMENT BRACKET SHEARED (1) AND BENT (1). RIGHT GEAR DETACHMENT APPEARS TO HAVE OCCURRED WHEN GOING ACROSS A 10-INCH HIGH GRAVEL EMBANKMENT (ACCORDING TO RANGER DESCRIPTION). RANGER PHOTOS SHOW WHAT APPEARS TO BE ONE, POSSIBLY TWO RUTS, WHICH WERE LIKELY CARVED OUT BY WATER. BELLY, RIGHT WING AND PROPELLER STRUCK GROUND SURFACE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
