## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N2256Y WAS ROLLING OUT AFTER LANDING ON RUNWAY 18 WHEN IT GROUND LOOPED NEAR THE PAPA-2 TAXIWAY INTERSECTION. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE WANTED TO MAKE PAPA-2 BUT WAS GOING TOO FAST. HE SAID HE UNLOCKED THE TAIL WHEEL, PUT THE STICK IN HIS STOMACH, AND THEN APPLIED BRAKE PRESSURE. HE INADVERTENTLY APPLIED UNEVEN BRAKE PRESSURE WHICH RESULTED IN THE GROUND LOOP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN10CA421](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN10CA421), Jul 19, 2010: Nord 3202 (N2256Y), Oshkosh, WI, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
