## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT IN COMMAND STATED THAT HE MADE A WIDE TURN ON THE APRON CAUSING THE LEFT AIRCRAFT WHEEL TO DROP OFF THE PAVEMENT. THE PILOT IN COMMAND ADDED ADDITIONAL POWER ON THE LEFT ENGINE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO BRING THE LEFT WHEEL BACK ONTO THE PAVEMENT. THE AIRCRAFT VEERED FURTHER TO THE LEFT AND THE LEFT PROPELLOR STRUCK THE TAXI LIGHT. THE PILOT IN COMMAND THEN SHUT DOWN BOTH ENGINES. THE SPRINGFIELD FLIGHT STANDARDS DISTRICT OFFICE WAS NOTIFIED OF THIS INCIDENT ON 08/04/2010.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
