## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 24, 2010, N7997L, A BEECH A23-19 WAS BEING HAND PROPPED ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. N7997L'S ENGINE STARTED, THE AIRCRAFT THEN SWUNG TO THE RIGHT, JUMPING THE CHOCK AND KNOCKING DOWN THE PILOT. N7997L IMPACTED A FUEL TRUCK PARKED ON THE RAMP. THE PILOT BROKE HIS FOOT, THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MAJOR DAMAGE.NTSB DID NOT INVESTIGATE. PILOT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO INTENTION FOR FLIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
