## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS CONDUCTING AERIAL SPRAYING WHEN THE AIRCRAFT HIT A POWER LINE. THE IMPACT WITH THE POWER LINE CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT ELEVATOR AND FORCED THE PILOT TO CRASH INTO A FIELD APPROXIMATELY 1 MILE FROM WHERE THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE POWER LINE. THE PILOT STATED HE WAS FLYING INTO THE SUN AND BEGAN HIS DESCENT INTO THE FIELD TOO EARLY DUE TO THE VISBILTY RESTRICTION CAUSED BY LOOKING INTO THE SUN. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED, BUT THE AIRCRAFT WAS DESTROYED.
