## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT DEPARTED LEHIGHTON AIRPORT (22N) TO FLY SOME TIME ON THE AIRCRAFT (LEFT ENGINE WAS WORKED ON, TEST FLIGHT) AND WHEN RETURNED TO AIRPORT THE NOSE GEAR SHOWN UNSAFE CONDITION (2 GREEN LIGHTS AND NO NOSE GEAR LIGHT), PILOT TRIED TO MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURES ALONG WITH NUMEROUS FLY BYS TO CONFIRM IF THE WAS DOWN, AND THE NOSE GEAR WAS NOT FULLY EXTENDED. PILOT FLEW TIME OFF THE AIRCRAFT, TO GET THE FUEL LOAD DOWN, THEN LANDED AT THE AIRPORT (ON THE TWO MAIN GEAR) AND THE SKIDDED TO A HALT ON THE RUNWAY. NO FIRE AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE AND THE LEFT PROP (DO TO WINDMILLING). NOSE LANDING GEAR COULD NOT BE DEPLOYED BY NORMAL OR EMERGENCY PROCEDURES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
