## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT SAID "I WAS RETURNING FROM A CROSSCOUNTRY FLT FROM KMSV. I WAS CLEARED TO LAND (KDXR) ON RUNWAY 35. ON LEFT DOWNWIND FOR 35, THE TOWER INSTRUCTED TO SET UP ON A RIGHT DOWNWIND FOR RUNWAY 26 INSTEAD. THE APPROACH WAS VERY ROUTINE. I WAS ON GLIDESLOPE AND MY INDICATED AIRSPEED WAS 80. AS I DESCENDED INTO GROUND EFFECT AND BEGAN FLARE, THERE WAS A SUDDEN PULL TO THE RIGHT. I TRIED TO CORRECT THIS WITH LEFT AILERON AND LEFT RUDDER. HOWEVER, THE A/C CONTINUED TO PULL TO THE RIGHT. SHORTLY THERAFTER, THEA/C PORPOISED ABOUT 3 TIMES. THE A/C MADE CONTACT WITH RUNWAY. THERE WAS A PROPELLER STRIKE AND AIRPLANE CAME TO REST PERPENDICULAR WITH THE RUNWAY. ON INTIAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 26, THERE WAS NO APPARENT CROSSWIND. I MADE A PERFECT LANDING AT SULLIVAN (KMSV) AN HOUR EARLIER. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY EXPERIENCED A HARD RIGHT PULL ON THIS PARTICULAR RUNWAY IN THE PAST. INSPECTOR LABBE NOTED: PROPELLER TIPS BENT AFT, NOSE GEAR FORK AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY IS BENT TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT WING TIP DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
