## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN STATED THAT DURING DEPARTURE CLIMB SEGMENT THE ANNUNCIATOR WARNED THAT THERE WAS A "LOW FUEL PRESSURE" CONDITION. AIRMAN PROCEEDED TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE IN AN EFFORT TO REMEDY PROBLEM. WHEN AIRMAN WAS UNABLE TO REMEDY THE CONDITION, WITH POWER DIMINISHING, HE ELECTED TO RETURN TO MORRISVILLE AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHED THE AIRPORT RUNWAY WITH ADEQUATE SPEED AND ALTITUDE TO MAKE A NORMAL/SAFE LANDING, HOWEVER, NOSEWHEEL IMPACTED PAVEMENT WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE EXCESSIVE FORCE WHICH RESULTED IN FAILURE OF NOSEWHEEL ASSEMBLY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA10LA405](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA10LA405), Aug 7, 2010: Glines Sportsman GS-2 (N546SG), Morrisville, VT, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's improper flare during a forced landing. Contributing to the accident was a loss of fuel pressure for undetermined reasons.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
