## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SOMETIME AFTER ENGING START DURING TAXI, PILOT MOVED GEAR POSITION HANDLE TO THE NEUTRAL POSITION WHICH REMOVED HYDRAULIC PRESSURE FROM SYSTEM, WHICH KEPT GEAR ACTUATORS IN THE OVER CENTER POSITION. DURING AIRCRAFT TAXI PILOT SELECTED 5 DEGREES FLAPS AT WHICH TIME LEFT GEAR COLLAPSED FOLLOWED BY RIGHT GEAR. NOSE GEAR REMAINED EXTENDED PREVENTING ENGINE AND PROPELLER DAMAGE. PILOT HAD NOT COMPLETED A REQUIRED CHECK RIDE AS HIS INITIAL CERTIFICATE DATE OF ISSUE WAS 03/17/09.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
