## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE SLOWING TO TOUCHDOWN A QUARTERING GUST OF WIND MADE THE AIRCRAFT UNSTABLE AND DUMPED IT TO THE LEFT ON ITS SIDE. THIS RESULTED IN A HARD LANDING AND TUMBLE WHICH BROKE THE CENTER SUPPORT AND CAUSED THE PROP TO STRIKE THE FRAME GRINDING OFF SEVERAL INCHES OF THE PROPELLER. THE PILOT RECEIVED A DISLOCATED SHOULDER AND HAD TO BE TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL. THE PASSENGER HAD MINOR BUMPS AND SCRATCHES AND WAS TREATED AND RELEASED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
