## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROXIMATELY 1410 AST AT AN ALTITUDE OF 5000' MSL, THERE WAS A SUDDEN TOTAL POWER FAILURE. THE PILOT IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED FROM THE RIGHT FUEL TANK TO THE LEFT FUEL TANK AND SWITCHED ON THE EMERGENCY FUEL PUMP WITH NO RESULTS. THE PILOT COMPLETED THE EMERGENCY CHECKLIST BUT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART ENGINE. HE GLIDED DOWN THE GREWINK GLACIER UNTIL AT ABOUT 2000'MSL, HE MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING AND THE PLANE SLID ON THE SURFACE UNTIL HITTING A CREVACE. THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED ON ITS BACK AND CAME TO REST. THE PILOT AND PASSENGERS EVACUATED THE AIRCRAFT THROUGH THE CO-PILOTS WINDOW. ONE PASSENGER WAS INJURED WHEN HE HIT HIS HEAD FALLING OUT OF HIS SEAT AFTER UNBUCKLING HIS SEAT BELT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
