## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, THE WEATHER WAS GOOD AND THE WINDS WERE CALM. THE PILOT WAS PRACTICING TAKE OFFS AND LANDINGS AND ON THE LAST LANDING OF THE DAY HE LANDED ON THE GRAVEL STRIP AT THE WASILLA AIRPORT AND GROUND LOOPED HIS SUPER CUB. THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER AFTER THE GROUND LOOP. THE PILOT WAS UNINJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC10CA077](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC10CA077), Aug 27, 2010: Piper PA-18-150 (N9730P), Wasilla, AK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during landing, resulting in a runway excursion and nose over.
