## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT APPROACHED HIGH THEN FLARED HIGH. PILOT STATED HE DID NOT APPLY ENOUGH COORDINATED RUDDER TO COUNTERACT THE IMPENDING STALL.AIRCRAFT STALLED, LANDED HARD, BOUNCED INTO THE AIR THEN THE PILOT APPLIED FULL POWER TO GO-AROUND. AIRCRAFT FAULTERED THEN HIT A STOP SIGN AT THE MID-FIELD POINT, GROUND LOOPING THEN FINALLY COMING TO A STOP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC10CA086](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC10CA086), Sep 11, 2010: Roberts Alan W Kitfox II (N598AL), Fairbanks, AK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain proper aircraft control during landing and the subsequent go-around, resulting in a hard landing, and a collision with a signpost.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
