## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS WAS A PERSONAL FLIGHT FROM DOTHAN AIRPORT (DHN) TO FREEDOM FIELD (AL1). WHILE IN CRUSE THE ENGINE STARTED TO RUN ROUGH AND THE PILOT TURNED ON THE ELECTRIC BOOST PUMP AND ADDED CARB HEAT WITH NO EFFECT. THE PILOT SELECTED THE MOST SUITABLE LANDING AREA AND EXECUTED AN OFF AIRPORT LANDING. THE LANDING WAS MADE WITH NO INJURIES OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. INVESTIGATION REVEALED NO FUEL CONTAMINATION. THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP WAS FOUND TO HAVE LOW OUT PUT PRESSURE.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
