## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH THE MAIN GEAR AND NOSE GEAR PARTIALLY EXTENDED AND NOT IN THE FULLY DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. THE PILOT STATED HE USED A CHECKLIST DURING THE APPROACH BUT HE DID NOT LOOK TO SEE IF THE GEAR LIGHTS WERE GREEN. AS A RESULT THE GEAR COLLAPSED DURING LANDING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN10LA564](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN10LA564), Sep 26, 2010: Cessna 310K (N550JW), Boerne Stage, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to ensure that the landing gear was extended prior to landing, resulting in a landing on the partially extended landing gear.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
