## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT PILOT WERE UNFAMILIAR WITH THE MILLVILLE AIRPORT TAXIWAYS. AFTER LANDING, THEY BECAME DISORIENTATED WHILE TAXING TO FIND THE FBO. PILOTS TURNED DOWN WRONG TAXIWAY AND AS IT BECAME NARROW, THE STUDENT PILOT DECIDED TO TURN LEFT AT A JUNCTION TO RETURN TO MAIN TAXIWAY STARTING POINT. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR TOOK THE CONTROLS TO AVOID AN OBSTACLE (PLASTIC MARKER) ON THE TAXIWAY AND TURNED RIGHT. WHILE TURNING RIGHT THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT WING TIP IMPACTED ON FENCE AND FENCE POLE. AIRCRAFT STOPPED AND SHUTDOWN UNTIL TOWED TO FBO.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
