UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 03L AT SPOKANE 'KSFF', THE RIGHT TIRE DEFLATED AND THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO PULL TO THE RIGHT. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO REGAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL; HOWEVER THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY IN A GRADUAL RIGHT TURN. THE RIGHT GEAR IMPACTED A RUNWAY LIGHT AND THE CONCREATE FOUNDATION OF THE LIGHT STRUCTURE, THE IMPACT DAMAGED THE MID TO INBOARD STRUCTURE OF THE RIGHT WING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR10LA479](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR10LA479), Sep 30, 2010: Piper PA-46-350P (N90SE), Spokane, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The failure of a manufacturing splice of the right main landing gear tire’s inner tube, which resulted in a deflated tire and a consequent loss of directional control on landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
