## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN STATED THAT WHILE TAXIING AWAY FROM HIS COMPANY RAMP A PARKED FORK LIFT FORCED HIM TO MAKE A NINETY DEGREE RIGHT TURN. AS HE MADE THE RIGHT TURN HE WATCHED THE LEFT WING TIP CLOSELY SO THAT HE WOULDN'T HIT THE FORK LIFT. ONCE THE TURN WAS MADE AND HE WAS CLEAR OF THE FORK LIFT THE AIRMAN INDICATED HE TAXIED STRAIGHT AHEAD IMPACTING A PILE OF SNOW THAT WAS NOT VISIBLE FROM THE PILOT SEAT. THE SNOW PILE WAS ESTIMATED TO BE 10 FOOT IN DIAMETER AND FOUR FEET TALL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
