## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED BFL THE MORNING OF 04 NOVEMBER 2010 ENROUTE TO EKO. AFTER LEVELING OFF AT FL350 THE CREW NOTICED THAT THE TRUE AIRSPEED WAS SLOWER THAN EXPECTED. THE CREW CHECKED ALL SYSTEMS, FLAPS ETC AND FOUND NO ABNORMALITIES. INSTRUMENTS WERE ALL READING NORMAL. UPON LANDING AT EKO FLIGHT CREW FOUND #2 ENGINE COWLING HAD COMPLETELY SEPERATED FROM THE AIRCRAFT. CREW IS NOT SURE AT WHAT POINT THE COWL LEFT THE AIRCRAFT. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT IN EKO FOUND 5 CONSECUTIVE DZUS FASTENERS MISSING IN A CRITICAL AREA ON LOWER INBOARD COWL JUST UNDER PYLON STRUT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
