## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED CABLE AIRPORT AND FLEW TO RIALTO AIRPORT TO PRACTICE TOUCH-AND-GO'S ON RUNWAY 24. ON THE 5TH LANDING A LOUD SNAP WAS HEARD. THE LEFT GEAR LEG FAILED AND DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT CAUSING THE LEFT WING TO DROP. THE AIRCRAFT WINGS WERE LEVELED AND THROTTLE HELD IN THE LOW POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED UNTIL THE LEFT WING AND PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND, AND THEN VEERED TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANCIAL DAMAGE. WIND WAS CALM AND RUNWAY 24 WAS DRY. NO INJURIES REPORTED.
