## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING PUSHBACK FROM C40 A DELTA SERVICE VAN (WIDGET BUS) MADE CONTACT WITH THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT WING. NO PASSENGERS OR CREW WERE INJURED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WINGLET, LEFT NAVIGATION LIGHT AND A LEFT WING STATIC ELIMINATOR. ADJACENT TO THE C40 PARKING SPACE IS A WIDGET ENTRY POINT WHICH THE BUS TURNED ON TO JUST AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS STARTING THE PUSHBACK. BECAUSE OF THE LEFT WINGWALKER'S POSITION HE WAS UNABLE TO SIGNAL TO THE TUG DRIVER OF THE BUS ENTERING THE WIDGET ENTRY POINT.THE WING COLLIDED WITH THE BUS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
