## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR11CA077](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR11CA077), Dec 12, 2010: Cessna 177 (N2262Y), Corona, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s improper flare, which resulted in a hard landing.

## Other reports on N2262Y (1)

- [Accident 19801012057609A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19801012057609A), Oct 12, 1980: Cessna 177 (N2262Y), Jeannette, PA, Substantial damage. Landed halfwaydown runway. Ran off end. Crosswind exceeded airplanes cross wind component.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System.
