## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 12/16/2010, AT APPROXIMATELY 1930 HOURS, AIRCRAFT N9246F STRUCK TWO DEER ON RUNWAY 27 DURING LANDING ROLLOUT. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT THE SPACE COAST REGIONAL AIRPORT (TIX) IN TITUSVILLE FLORIDA. THE PILOT JIYONG KIM, STATED THAT UPON ARRIVAL AT TIX FROM THE SOUTH HE WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 27. DURING LANDING ROLLING OUT, HE SAW A DEER CROSS THE AIRCRAFT PATH FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. SOON AFTER THE FIRST DEER CROSSED HIS PATH, TWO MORE DEERS CAME INTO VIEW AND CROSSED VERY CLOSE TO THE AIRCRAFT. DUE TO THE SHORT DISTANCE BETWEEN THE AIRCRAFT AND THE DEERS, HE COULD NOT AVOID COLLIDING WITH THE SECOND AND THIRD DEER. THE COLLISION RESULTED IN DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT PROPELLER AND LEFT LOWER ENGINE COWLING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
