## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON TAKEOFF FROM FLL EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE SAFE GEAR INDICATIONS THE PIC COULD NOT MOVE THE LANDING GEAR LEVER TO RETRACT THE GEAR .HE ADVISED ATC OF THE SITUATION AND RETURNED AND LANDED AT FLL. EMBRAER MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS PERFORMED A PROCEDURE FOR PROLONG PARKING FOUND IN THE POH REV5 PAGE 5-15 AND THE GEAR RETRACTED SATISFACTORY. IT WAS DETERMINED BY EMBRAER SAFETY SPECIALIST THAT THE AIRCRAFT SAT IDLE FOR 18 DAYS AND THE PILOT FAILED TO PERFORM THE PROCEDURE FOR THE RETURN TO SERVICE AFTER PROLONGED PARKING (8 TO 28 DAYS) FOUND IN THE POH.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
