## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FIFTEEN MINUTES INTO FLIGHT, PILOT WAS AT CRUISE RPM 3000 MSL. PILOT PULLED THROTTLE TO IDLE AND DECENDED TO 2000 MSL. THROTTLE WAS STUCK AT IDLE. ALL ATTEMPTS TO RESTORE POWER FAILED. A FIELD WAS LOCATED FOR AN EMERGENCY LANDING. LANDING WAS NORMAL WHEN AIRCRAFT REACHED AN EMBANKMENT ABOUT 3 TO 4 FT HIGH AT A DRIVEWAY CROSSING FIELD. AIRCRAFT STRUCK THE EMBANKMENT AND LAUNCHED BACK INTO AIR AND CAME TO REST ABOUT 50 FT PAST DRIVEWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
