## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CROCKETT COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFFS RECEIVED COMPLAINTS OF A LOW FLYING HELICOPTER OPERATING ERRATICALLY OVER THE CITY OF OZONA AND BUZZING THE HOLIDAY INN. THE PILOT BUZZED THE DEPUTIES PATROL CARS AND LANDED IN A DRAW BESIDE THE ROAD IN OZONA. THE TX DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (DPS) WAS NOTIFIED AND AN ARREST WAS MADE FOR FLYING WHILE INTOXICATED AND UNLAWFULLY CARRYING A PISTOL WHILE INTOXICATED. THE PILOT WAS ADMINISTERED A SOBRIETY FIELD TEST, WHICH HE FAILED, BUT HE REFUSED TO TAKE A BREATHALYZER TEST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
