## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS DEMONSTRATING A NIGHT, POWER-OFF APPROACH AND LANDING TO THE STUDENT. HE OVERSHOT THE TURN TO FINAL APPROACH AND WAS CORRECTING BACK TOWARD THE CENTERLINE AS THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN NEAR THE RIGHT EDGE OF THE RUNWAY. THE RIGHT MAIN TIRE CONTACTED A SNOWBANK LEFT BY THE SNOWPLOW, WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO TURN INTO THE SNOW AND NOSE OVER. THIS CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE AND NO INJURIES TO THE CREW.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
