## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED ENGINE FAILURE DURING DESCENT INTO TEB AIRPORT. PILOT WAS BALANCING FUEL AND HAD THE RIGHT TANK/VALVE OFF. WHEN SELECTED BACK ON, HE STATED THE ENGINE SURGED THEN FAILED. ATTEMPT AT RESTART WAS UNSUCESSFUL. PILOT LANDED ON I-80 NEAR EXIT 66 WITH NO DAMAGE OR INJURIES. AIRCRAFT WAS THEN TRANSPORTED VIA TRUCK TO TEB. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THE AIRCRAFT WAS STARTED AT THE SCENE AFTER LANDING AND AT TEB UPON TRUCK DELIVERY, AND RAN NORMAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
