## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 34, SLIGHTLY TO THE RIGHT OF THE CENTER LINE. THE AIRCRAFT ROLLOUT WAS APPROXIMATELY 300 TO 400 FEET BEFORE THE INITIAL SKID MARK. THE INITIAL SKID MARK INDICATES THE RIGHT MAIN TIRE LOCKED UP ON A 340 DEGREE HEADING. APPROXIMATELY 30 FEET LATER, THE LEFT MAIN AND NOSE GEAR SKID MARKS ARE OBSERVED; THESE MARKS INDICATE A SKIDDING TURN TO THE RIGHT. APPROXIMATELY 60 FEET LATER THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED A SNOW BANK, COMING TO REST ON A HEADING OF 160 DEGREES. THE RESULTING IMPACT WITH THE SNOW BANK RESULTED IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN11LA178](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN11LA178), Feb 7, 2011: Beech A36 (N6XZ), Danville, IL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
